A large utility company in California, invited BuildingIQ to demonstrate the effectiveness of its Predictive Energy OptimizationTM (PEO) software on two buildings—within its service territory—owned by a large real estate development company in the West Coast. The project is part of a program implemented by the utility, which aims to contribute to the development and deployment of new and underutilized energy efficiency (EE) and demand response (DR) technologies supporting California’s aggressive energy and demand savings goals.
